Sarasota is not a franchise or a satellite. It is Smile Spot Dentistry, run to the same standards by the same team, with Dr. Sellappan leading both offices. Everything patients have come to Venice for is here.
Physician-led diagnosis
Every new patient gets the same comprehensive exam we are known for: Kois-based bite and risk assessment, CBCT 3D imaging and Pearl AI-assisted radiograph review, before any treatment is proposed.
The in-house digital lab
iTero scanning, SprintRay and Midas printing, and same-day crowns are part of the Sarasota studio from day one. Your case is designed and often made under the same roof.
The Sanctuary standard
Noise-cancelling headphones, warm blankets, aromatherapy and the Comfort Menu — the same calm, unhurried experience, built into the new space from the start.

Dr. Meenachi Sellappan, DDS
Founder and clinical lead, Venice & Sarasota. Valedictorian of the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine and a Kois Center graduate, Dr. Sellappan founded Smile Spot on one idea: diagnose properly first, then treat conservatively. She sets the clinical standard for both offices and will be in Sarasota on oversees both offices.
